PirateCheck
Terms of service
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These terms apply when you install and use the PirateCheck app for Shopify.
Who provides the service
PirateCheck is provided by Nodehub OU, Sepapaja 6, Tallinn 15551, Estonia.
What PirateCheck does
PirateCheck looks for copies of your product photos on other websites. It shows you the likely copies with the proof it found, and it builds a takedown notice for each store you mark as a pirate.
What PirateCheck does not do
- You decide which finds are copies, and you send any notice yourself. We do not send notices for you.
- We cannot promise to find every copy, or that a platform or host removes a listing.
- PirateCheck and its notices are not legal advice. If you are unsure, talk to a lawyer.
Your responsibilities
- You confirm that you own the photos you protect, or that you have the right to protect them.
- You are responsible for every notice you send and for what it says.
Fair use
Use PirateCheck only to protect your own products. Do not use it to send false notices or to harass others. Do not try to overload or misuse the service.
Billing
Shopify bills you for PirateCheck, and we never see your card. Prices are on the Shopify App Store listing. You can change your plan in the app at any time. To stop paying, remove the app from your Shopify admin.
Availability and liability
We provide PirateCheck "as is". We work to keep it running and correct, but we cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the service
You can stop at any time by removing the app from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your data after you remove the app.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We tell you before an important change takes effect, and we update the date at the top of this page.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of Estonia. Disputes go to Harju County Court in Estonia.
